# CLAPSTORM

> Launch your product in a free, fair weekly round. CLAPSTORM is a Product Hunt alternative with equal claps, no waitlist, and no paid board placement.

## How it works

- Each weekly round, every signed-in member gets a budget of "claps" to give to the launches they like.
- Products are ranked by total claps for the round; the top three take the podium.
- Under the podium, launches whose makers back other launches (or that 3+ people back) ride "the storm"; the rest sit in "the drizzle" below. Each half is ranked by claps, the storm numbered first (final standings too); the podium and winners are claps alone.
- Every launch gets a permanent page. Its link to the product's own site is dofollow once the launch finishes its round in the storm (its maker still backing other launches at the close, or 3+ people backing it); until then it is nofollow ugc. The rule applies from the round opening 28 October 2026; every launch submitted before it was announced keeps its dofollow link.
- Past winners are preserved in the Hall of Fame.
